Product Description
Spoken Miracles is an anecdotal account of Martha Lucia Espinosa’s 30-year-long search for answers from God, as well as the result of a request that has been made by thousands of readers of author Gary R. Renard’s The Disappearance of the Universe, lovingly called “D.U.” Near the end of D.U., one of Gary’s teachers mentions that there were 365 quotations from the modern spiritual guide A Course in Miracles (ACIM) used in the D.U. book. We are told also that if these quotations were read on their own, they could either be used as a thought for the day throughout the year, or they could simply be read like a book, in which case they would constitute a “refresher course” by Jesus, the Voice of A Course in Miracles. Many people requested that these quotations be put into book form, but it was a bigger job than most realized. Gary and his teachers had used more than 11,000 words from ACIM during the course of their discussions. Additionally, inspiration guides this book to be written in a way that it can stand on its own, to help introduce people to both D.U. and A Course in Miracles, as well as to inspire and entertain a little, so it includes a short story as a way to introduce readers to the basic concepts of these remarkable and miraculous books.

Great DU Companion Book September 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
All of Arten and Pursah's quotes of ACIM from Gary Renard's DU book in order. There's a new passage for each day of the year. They're short and easy to read. Spoken Miracles is great for a quick spiritual pick-me-up.

This book by Louisa Esposito is a must read. One can read it straight through, or day by day. I find reading it daily is an inspiration which I now look forward to each day. Catherine (Cissie ) Rocks
A nice little treat! December 9, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Spoken Miracles - A Companion to The Disappearance of the Universe is a nice a little treat. The book contains all 365 quotes used in DU that came from A Course in Miracles. The book also includes a touching story of Lucia's spiritual path leading her to The Course.
As it says in DU, not only is repetition ok, but it is mandatory! Well, here's some encouraging reminders for us all to keep practicing forgvieness, giddy up!
Thank you, Lucia November 25, 2007 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
The experience of A Course In Miracles (ACIM) just gets opened wider and wider with wonderful expressions of Love like Martha Lucia Espinosa! Thank you for taking the time to write this exceptional jewel! Allowing Holy Spirit to undo the blocks to love's presence is a 24-7 Forgiveness Exercise, and we need all the help we can get!
Lucia was kind enough to simply follow the advise of Gary Renard, author of Disappearance of the Universe (DU), to pick out the ACIM quotes -- all 365 of them -- that appeared in DU. I started it...and then Lucia's book appeared. Now all I have to do is use those little gems along the way.
Not only is the book delightful, but the story of Lucia's own spiritual journey is wondefully written and now I feel there's another friend on the journey. We're all in this together. A joyful journey it is thanks to books and authors like this!
Read it. You will be be glad!
hats off to Martha (Lucia) for stepping up to the plate October 2, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
During the last decade, author Gary R. Renard was visited in the flesh by two ascended masters who instructed him to write a book. Over the course of nine years he eventually did write his book, The Disappearance of the Universe (DU), based on his Guided study of the metaphysical masterpiece, A Course in Miracles (ACIM).
Not long after DU was first published, a fellow student claimed it had such a "profound impact" on his understanding of A Course in Miracles, that he started a message board on Yahoo! Groups in April 2003, just so he could discuss and "hear other people's impressions" of Gary's book.
That October a new member joined the group, Martha Lucia Espinosa. By Jan 2004, Martha, or Lucia, as she prefers to be called, was selected to co-moderate the this rapidly expanding DU discussion group. Today, besides being a moderator to that group, (now almost 5,000 members), at the request of many of Gary's readers she has finally authored the companion book to DU that we've all been waiting for, Spoken Miracles.
Spoken Miracles is a brilliant little gem containing in concise format all of the quotations from ACIM that are found in The Disappearance of the Universe. During the nine years of on-going discussion Gary had with Arten and Pursah, 365 references were made to ACIM. Now they are beautifully recorded in order of appearance, and accurately cited for easy reference in Spoken Miracles, along with how Lucia, herself, came to be a student. I like to think of Spoken Miracles as DU minus Gary's ego, (LOL). As Gary would say, "So hats off to Martha (Lucia) for stepping up to the plate and kicking a(nother) field goal."
