A very clear and lucid explanation of the many facets of Masonic Initiation from one of Freemasonry's best authors.
W.L. Wilmshurst - Masonic Initiation January 9, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This divine little book is a must for any new Mason. It is full of history, wisdom and esoteric knowledge and will serve as a guide no matter what Masonic degree a person attains. It will be a mainstay of my Masonic library.

Don't take Wilmshurst too seriously March 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wilmhurst implies that Freemasonry teaches the doctrine of transmigration of the soul. Freemasonry teaches no such thing. This is a belief which Freemasons may hold, however they come to this conclusion outside of Masonry. Freemasonry is not a religion as presupposed by Wilmhurst in this lecture and this text should not be taken too seriously.
