Product Description
A unique and valuable resource for all students and practitioners of the TarotIncludes 22 major arcana pop-out cards from the Osho Zen TarotA must have for owners of the phenomenally popular Osho Zen Tarot, this in-depth study of the meanings of the cards in the Osho Zen Tarot deck will also appeal to those who use the Rider, Crowley, and other, more traditional cards. The "here and now" approach of Zen offers the insight that the future evolves out of present events, ideas, and attitudes. Playful and accessible even to the novice, this remarkable handbook includes a table of correspondences for the Rider-Waite and Crowley cards, and special sections on the meanings of the four major elements, or "suits" in the Tarot system.Tarot in the Spirit of Zen introduces readers to a deeper understanding of the Zen approach to becoming aware of and responding to life's challenges. Just like the Osho Zen Tarot deck, with its fresh and contemporary approach, the contents of Tarot in the Spirit of Zen are of interest to anyone who is interested in self-exploration and personal transformation.

too highly recommended plus one October 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
just get it and accept the fact that the tarot came from the east, went west and then came back.
osho isn't the center, but the catalyst for finding one's center.
onwards. highly recommended. no, even higher...
Tarot taken to a high level, the highest level. September 23, 2008 This is a truly terrific book, not just on the tarot but on life. It stays on the point and encourages the reader to a new space, the ultimate space.
Integrates the Tarot with Zen July 9, 2005 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
Finally, someone has come out with a book that integrates Tarot with Zen. The table of correspondences makes it so that you can use it with regular Tarot cards as well, if you can't, or don't want to, buy the Osho tarot deck. There are miniature reproductions of the Major Arcana from the Osho Tarot, which was a nice addition.

today i recieve Tarot in the Spirit of Zen: The Game of Life with Cards in the mail. i'm not very happy with the product i received. i only ordered this item because it says that i comes with cards. full sized tarot cards for me to use the book with. i didn't order this so that i can get a book full of information about tarot that i can't use. oh i forgot to mention it says with cards, but it doesn't mention the size of them, 2 by 3 cm. plus theres only around 10 of them with little pictures you can hardly see. i have returned this item.
A Great Resource No Matter What Deck You Use August 6, 2003 33 out of 34 found this review helpful
With its table of correspondences to the Crowley and Rider decks, and its introductory material on how to use Tarot as a tool for insight into the here and now, this book is a great resource not only for Osho Zen Tarot fans but for everybody who wants to get more out of their Tarot readings. Owners of the Osho Zen Tarot deck and its accompanying handbook will appreciate the in-depth explorations of the meanings of each of the cards. And in fact, even those who are not so much into Tarot but simply interested in understanding the ups and downs of life and its lessons will find many insights and much encouragement here. And finally, the little pop-out cards in the back are wonderful! Very nice quality, glossy paper makes them very nice to use.
