Can't live without it! August 12, 2008 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have the '07-'08 version of this calendar and searched the internet to find the new one for the upcoming year. I have 3 kids and I don't think I can ever go back to a regular calendar - cramming in everybody's activities into a regular calendar box. My kids (ages 6,4,2) know how to read the calendar and can keep track of their own upcoming activities. My oldest even checks her line for "gym" days at school on her own to know when to wear gym shoes.
This calendar rocks! September 9, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love this calendar. I agree with the other reviewer who said that she "couldn't live without it." I have used the '06-'07 and the '07-'08 versions, and have yet to see anything better suited to a busy family's (aka Mom's) lifestyle. The only improvement I would suggest is more rows for more family members - only because I have a friend with five kids. There are five rows all together, so I have a line for Dad, Mom, and each of three kids. I would suggest this calendar to any mom who asked my opinion. And considering that this is the first time that I have "rated" an item at Amazon, I must really mean it. :o)
The best calendar September 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is my favorite calendar ever! This is the second time I've purchased it and I will probably continue to do so as long as they make it. It has the perfect amount of space for my 5 person family and it keeps me organized which I love. It's also very cute. It comes with lots of stickers if that's your thing, but I really don't use them.
Magnet Mishap September 24, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had the calendar hanging on my fridge and after a week, fell off the fridge minus the magnet. There is a definite flaw because the glue was not strong enough to hold the magnet on the back of the calendar & my attempts were futile when trying to put it back together. Otherwise, good enough for a family of five who aren't too "overbooked" with activities, although preferred the location of the fridge door.
Ok for families with one appt per day October 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to replace Mom's Family calendar by Sandra Boyton, what a mistake!
We often have more than one event per person per day, and the boxes are 1/2 the size of the old calendar, so there is not enough room to write anything about the appointment or meeting. With a busy family, this will just not work!
I am going to give this away to someone else.
