Nice ring April 10, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The ring I received comfortably fits my finger. It's light weight, easy to clean, and (I think) rather handsome.
Most guys don't like wearing jewelry, with the possible exception of wedding bands and even then, that can be can be a matter of debate. But for me, I feel that it has such a simplicity (even a masculinity) to it that any man can wear it without necessarily looking married, effeminate, or Gothic. Believe me, when I first talked about getting a ring, these were concerns I heard from other guys, but once they saw it, they agreed it looked good.
Of course, the real nice part of this ring is the price. Most guys don't like the idea that they're going to be spending more on an easily-lost item than they spent on their first car (probably). Especially when it comes to the one he's going to wear. Let's face facts, newly weds argue primarily about three things: money, sex, and in-laws. If at all possible, don't add fodder to these three topics.
Bare in mind, I bought it because it looks good, but I know plenty of couples just out of college that are doing traditional precious metal/ diamond rings for the ladies and simple stainless steel for the men.
Besides, if you loose it, it's easily and inexpensively replaced. It's a simple, clean classic look so even if you can't get one from the same vendor, you can get something very similar.
A bit of advice: get your finger sized somewhere like Target, then start shopping online.
Mens wedding band September 17, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought a different ring for my Husband and although he liked the ring, it was not rounded on the edges and started cutting into his fingers. He asked me to select a different one so I found several and showed them to him. He picked this one. It came today. (I ordered it Friday and it was here on Monday), which I thought was very fast service. The ring is exactly like it was described on Amazon.com. I ordered a half size smaller than my Husband wears because the first one was a bit loose. This ring fit perfectly. My Husband is very happy with it and so am I. We will see how well it holds up with the job that he has, He is a machinist and beats up rings pretty quickly. I will let you know how it stands up. I would recomend this ring so far to any one who is thinking about purchasing it.
Exactly what I was looking for January 30, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
When my fiance proposed to me, he gave me a beautiful ring. I asked him if he'd like to have an engagement ring, too. He said he would. But he works as a bartender, and so I needed to find something that he could wear at work, where he's constantly washing glasses, bringing up loads of beer from the basement, busing dishes, etc. He's also very picky about style and wouldn't have wanted anything too flashy or ornamented. This ring is perfect, it's durable and yet if something were to happen to it, it's not like I paid a bundle. It's a simple style, doesn't get in his way and is very comfortable (once he got used to wearing a ring). The ring arrived in less than a week, so I was very happy with the company. When we get married and he gets a "day job" we'll upgrade to something more elegant and precious. But for now, this was exactly what I wanted for him, and he really likes it! Why should only women get engagement rings?
Very nice, exactly what I was looking for. April 3, 2008 Nice, extremely durable. Exactly what I was looking for. Will take heavy punishment and not flauter under weight or stress.
Very nice quality, good looking April 8, 2008 I purchased this ring in addition to a Palladium ring to use as wedding bands. I'm very satisfied with this ring, especially considering the price. It is nice enough to be used as a primary wedding band. While it doesn't have the same color or sheen as the Palladium, it's surprisingly not much different, and I doubt even my wife could tell without taking my hand a looking at it closely. This has a very shallow dome, which is good for me as I don't really like wearing rings. The edges aren't sharp by any means, but not as rounded as what you might get from a traditional jewler. Very nice for those of us who work with our hands, as it seems to be very hard to scratch, and being stainless shouldn't react with anything.
