 Disappointing April 15, 2008

Should have known from the price, but the peridots are not beads, but tiny misshapen lumps. Also there is a much greater contrast between the pearls than I expected from the photo -- there are both white and medium grey pearls. Altogether not something I am likely to wear.

IF you look close enough at the picture you can see that the peridots are kinda lumpy. I've had mine for a few months now and am very pleased w/ it. My pearls are white, purple, and pink. The peridots are spaced the same way they are in the picture. My pearls look different then the picture, but I don't believe it's a huge deal, since it's only a color difference. I think for the price, it was very worth it. And this piece is very complimenting to simple and classy dresses.

The item was exactly as described by Amazon. Please note that these are freshwater pearls and so each one is unique and there is some slight variation among them. This necklace is little on the small side so those with larger necks might want to look elsewhere.
Overall, my wife was very impressed.

The description shows only white pearls and same size peridot, and says will be 18 inches long. The one I received was only 12 inches long, the pearls were an unattractive blue and gray, and the peridot was very small and uneven sized pieces. Very unsatisfactory, and I returned rather than keep.

Terrible! The pearls are gray and white. The peridot is few and fair between. Completely unattactive.
