Amazon.com Product Description From Stuehrling Original's Sportsman's Series, the Concorso represents what sports is all about
competition. "Concorso" means "competition;" "strada" means "road'" and supported with a racing style look of trapezoidal luminous markers and gage-style luminous hands, the flocked dial of the Strada anchors a look and feel directly from the instrument panel of a racecar! The engine that powers this sporty timepiece is a Swiss quartz engine which presents a classic three-hand arrangement for the simple time and a quick set date at the three o'clock position. The large Arabic numeral twelve as well as the hour indices have all been individually applied to the black dial. The sleek sport style Silver hour and minute hands have been treated with the same Super Luminova as have the hour markers in a striking Coral color. The dial has been recessed into the classic 46-millimeter round case which has been constructed of the finest grade of stainless steel, 316L. The bezel has been beveled and treated with a mirror finish like the rest of the casing and embossed with a tachymeter for measuring speed and distance. With dual `O" rings on the inside of the crown, the Strada allows for water resistance to 50 meters. The crystal that covers the classic face is domed and made of Krysterna for durability of everyday wear. On the flipside, the Strada features a solid stainless steel screwed-in case-back that has been decorated with the Stuehrling logo. The final accoutrement to the Strada, "where the rubber meets the road," is the black rubber strap and superb stainless steel clasp that fastens this everyday sport watch to your wrist. The 22mm wide strap boasts a tire-tread like design and the fold-over-clasp-with-double-push-button-safety for ease of release and a safety lock to prevent it from opening unnecessarily. Gentlemen
Start you engines!

cheap band, poorly made, bad buy at any price IMO April 22, 2008 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
I bought this watch for 79 on a goldbox offer. It appears cheap, one of the hands is scratched and from what I read in the forum (goldbox) it was only coral colored when it was glowing which was wrong, its ugly. The buckle is so cheap it's pathetic and is already scratched from just trying it on. The watch it too large, too. A bad buy at any price. These Stuhrling's & Invicta's are just what they seem...save your money and buy a hamilton jazzmaster, an oris or even a seiko black monster. Actually, for the money (really $10 less) consider searching for the word 'Competencia', watches by a company named Le Chateau. Same deal, quartz, rubber strap etc but good reviews. Haven't bought one but they couldn't be worse I am positive of this fellow Amazonians.
What did you exepct for $79? April 24, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love Amazon reviews and I want to balance the current forum on this watch. I also bought this watch as a gold box deal for $79 because it looked good. I am not disappointed because I was not expecting much for such a low price. This watch is great, it looks good and has a great rubber strap. Granted, the clasp is cheap but its functional. Be careful when trimming the band down, I went too far and now I need a new one. The watch box reminded me of an Hermes tie box, it is really something to see. I would certainly reccomed this watch and other Stuhrling products.
Good For the price April 23, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
The watch has a nice large face and is easy to read even in low light. It was nice being able to size the band myself with just a pair of scissors. It was a good buy for $79.

Got myself this watch for $119. Great buy! Love the rubber strap. Good reliable watch.
Impressive Packaging April 29, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
If your looking for a gift watch, the packaging may be worth gold box $79 price. No doubt the cost basis of it is far more than the band and clasp. The watch looks pretty good, too.
