Amazon.com Product Description
Get ready for undersea discovery and elegant nights on the town with this Invicta Pro Diver Skeleton stainless steel men's automatic watch, which is topped by a black-plated unidirectional rotating bezel with 23 hand set diamond-accented elapsed time markings. The diamonds are GH in color and SI in clarity. The large, round silver watch case measures 44mm wide (1.73 inches) and the back has a skeleton view window into the inner workings of the watch's automatic movement. The black dial face offers Tritnite luminous dotted markers and hands (with seconds hand), small minute indexes, and a magnified date window at 3 o'clock. The triple-link surgical grade 316L stainless steel bracelet band is joined by a fold-over-clasp-with-safety. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and coin-edged bezel for an easy grasp even with gloved hands.

An automatic (or self-winding) watch is fitted with a device (rotor) that automatically winds the spring by using the force of gravity. It needs no battery, but it will stop if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time--as long as you're moving, the watch will stay powered. Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet invented the self-winding mechanism in 1770. It worked on the same principle as a modern pedometer, and was designed to wind as the owner walked.

Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

5 out of 5 stars Wow   December 8, 2007

Wow, what a surprise. I've been a watch colletor for years now and have yet to purchase an Invicta to add to my collection. Well, I'm happy that I got this one. Very sharp looking watch ( pictures do not do this watch justice ). The quality, the weight the feel of the watch are all top notch. The diamonds are small, but are placed very nicely into the face and bezel. When asking a couple of friends of mine what they thought I had paid for this, they both said $1k or more. They were both in shock when I told them the Amazon price ( and one proceeded to order one ). Well to wrap it up all I will say is that you will NOT be disappointed with this watch what so ever. For the price, it's almost a steal, seriously. For any watch collector out there, this piece has to be in your collection, period.

4 out of 5 stars Nice watch, good price.   November 22, 2007

I bought this watch when it was featured as a deal of the day special. Overall, it seems to be a pretty nice watch. I like the weight of the watch, and the overall appearance is nice. Two things I would like to note - 1. The diamonds are pretty small (though you have to expect that at this price point) 2. The bezel was not black as shown in the photos and noted in the item description; the one I received has a grey bezel. Fortunately, the grey bezel looks pretty nice. I read a lot of reviews about Invicta watches, and it seems like most people are satisfied with the quality of their watches. So far, I am satisfied with this watch.

5 out of 5 stars A lot of watch for the money   February 24, 2008

I've owned dozens of high grade watches in the past and am very happy with this purchase. It is very similar to the Rolex Submariner, a watch that would be 5 to 7 thousand more dollars depending on choice of dial etc. I like the exhibition back that allows you to see the automatic movement. I like the weight of the watch and also the style. I like that it has the diamonds, but that they aren't too much and don't draw too much attention to your wrist. The quality is very good and I've never seen this much watch for this cheap. I was hoping that the links would have screws instead of pins, but again, 200 bucks isn't going to get you EVERYTHING that the Rolex has.

4 out of 5 stars Looks Good...   March 21, 2008

I just purchase this watch because of the extra 20% off. The watch has a cheap japanese Miyota movement, and is not a saphire crystal display. So you are basically paying for the small diamonds and the case. The case is heavy and well build, but the band is cheap. I guess its a better buy then a 10 cent electric quarts movement , and the Miyota movements runs about $35. Also in the automatic watches, the water proofing is better, because you don't have to break the seals to change the batteries...
