| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Granted, we're tool junkies, but we don't know anybody who can resist the lure of a little combo like this. First, the EVO Jr. knife has a slick little 440 stainless steel blade coated with titanium nitride for superior corrosion resistance. The anodized aluminum handle has seven slanted oval openings in it, and we admit it gives it a lean, mean look, but even better, it cuts down on the knife's weight. When folded, it fits beautifully in a pocket, perfect for hiking, fishing and a hunt in the woods. It flips open with one hand as smooth as ice and features a finger flip that also serves as a guard. But the star of this pair is definitely the cool, keychainable Clutch multi-purpose tool. It's a mere 2-1/2 inches closed, and there's little evidence of what lies beneath. But slide it open, and you've got instant access to an amazingly strong needlenose mini-pliers, a knife blade, gritty file, nail cleaner, three screwdrivers (two flat, one Phillips), tweezers and a bottle opener, and the whole thing travels incognito on your keychain. It's brilliant.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste What's in the Box EVO Jr. serrated knife, Clutch multi-purpose keychain tool

quality built, nice to have around May 9, 2007 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
It's a quality built tool that will be nice to have it around (in the office drawer,etc.). The longer blade of the Evo jr. makes it more suitable to cut oranges than most Swiss Army Knives.
The big complain is that it's often too hard to pull the tiny tools out of the clutch (a broken fingernail on the first try). It soon became a mental struggle on whether to risk my nail (to pull a tool), or walk to other rooms for other tools. Also, the tweezers is probably of little use as designed.
Good Value, Nice Combo January 16, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Really good product for the money (I got it for 1/2 price). The clutch is very handy. It fits nicely in the third front pocket of my jeans and is hardly noticeable. The knife is big enough for most needs but not too big for convenience. It has a clip. It's also easy to open with one hand. Overall Gerber makes really nice stuff. Not made in USA is the only negative for me.
At least the knife works January 18, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this set for my husband at Christmas time. The knife is amazing and sharp! However, the gerber clutch broke by the 2nd day...he was simply using it on plastic! It's a shame, but at least the knife works...

This product hit the sweet spot for those individuals to whom I sent one of these for Christmas. All liked it and some said they used it immediately, to help open the kids' gifts.

little smaller than what i expected but nice combo.
Action on the EVO Jr. isn't as smooth as i'd like it to be but it's great as a small carry-around.
Clutch multi-tool is well-made and great for most basic tasks. Just be careful when closing it.
Package deal is perfect for most day to day needs.
