Amazon.com Product Description Young conductors will definitely be all aboard this twist and fold Thomas the Tank Engine tent. Featuring EZ Twist's patented twist-and-fold technology, the tent sets up instantly and, when fully folded again, stores in a small included bag that's no larger than a grocery sack. The only assembly (and it's not even required) is to attach the inflatable steering wheel to Velcro toggles. Once the freestanding train is up, preschoolers and toddlers can place chairs inside to take them on imaginary rides around Sodor Island or dream up a slew of other creative play scenarios. Slip a sleeping bag inside the large (52"L x 26"W x 38"H) hideaway structure and kids can even extend their daytime adventures into naptime escapades. The bright blue, red, yellow and black two-cube engine has a sunroof so little heads can look ahead for any dangers on the track, a tunnel port for crawling through, and swinging side door access for realistic play. The lightweight material and compact storage makes this tent very portable, allowing kids to take something familiar to new places -- or the grandparent's house. | | This fun Thomas tent has plenty of room for friends. |

A Must for any Thomas Fan! October 8, 2004 70 out of 71 found this review helpful
My little guy just loves this. It is very compact when folded up and actually fits next to my sons entertainment center in a tiny little slit between the center and wall. It is a nice size when unfolded. As stated below in another review we did notice a funny smell after opening it at first but it quickly dissapeard. Actually when we folded it up to store I just stuck a downy sheet in between one of the folds and that helped right away!
It is actually roomy enough to have an adult sitting inside on one end and a child on the other end. We love it here! It's a nice quiet place for our son to go to read books...and sometimes he likes to peak out the front of the train and watch a Thomas Video!
Yet Another OverPriced Paper Playhut Product March 14, 2003 26 out of 27 found this review helpful
Buyer beware on all Playhut products online that don't specifically tell you what the material is! They used to promote the nylon they used and made sure it was in each product description. Now they don't even tell what the product is made from because they are using plastic and "paper like" materials and selling them for the same price as durable NYLON. augh! I can wash my old Playhut things easily. They air dry and can be used for years. Try getting this junk wet and a finger could easy go right through it. The same warning goes for buying Playhut in the stores. Make sure you open it and SEE what it is made out of before you buy it. Playhut should be ashamed of what they are doing to their reputation. Cutting corners to add to their profits is losing customers who didn't mind paying more for quality but they refuse to pay more for trash!
Still going strong after 4 years November 12, 2005 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
We got this for our son at least four years ago, maybe five. Both our kids still play with it frequently. We misplaced the detachable smokestack somewhere along the way, but that's no big deal. It's held up suprisingly well considering the amount of playtime, and it nicely folds flat when it's time to store it away again.
ya got to get this for a thomas lover!! October 19, 2006 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
My 4 year old grandson is obsessed with thomas..he owns the trains, dvds, books..you name it he has it..even a thomas hat..anyway when i surprised him at bedtime with a thomas tent..he was so excited..i mean so excited he was speechless..needless to say..he has not slept in his bed since i surprised him with this..he has dragged all of his favorite stuffed animals into the tent..especially at bedtime, even likes to have his meals in this tent..BUT, to unpack it is no problem, the material spot cleans well, however trying to fold it to fit in the carrying case has been the challenge for this grandma...reading the instructions is no help, so i fold it enough to fit in the closet when my grandson's gone home..this is a great toy for a kid, his infatuation with thomas and hours of make believe play...buy it it's worth it in so many ways!!
Not worth it January 9, 2005 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
My 4-year-old is so disappointed. Thomas is ripping after only a few uses. I was disappointed when we opened the package and saw that it was made from the thin papery material used in disposable medical booties and gowns.
While I'm sure I can return it, that won't fix my son's disappointment. This toy was not worth it.
