This review is not by a professional... I'm just someone who has his hair cut at home about once per month :).
I like this cape as it's a pretty thick nylon and is very durable. I only have two concerns with it:
1) It has Velcro neckband -- I'm worried it'll wear after some time, and some clippings can get trapped in it
2) It seems to get a bit staticky... really have to fling it to remove hair from it
I gave it 5-stars because it does its [very simple] job. There's nothing special about a cape, that I'm aware of, however make sure you buy nylon, not a plastic garbage bag with a neckband! Those things won't last and the money saved isn't worth it.
I previously had a much thinner cape (almost see through) with "snap" closure which I prefer to the Velcro, but only time will tell if I'm worried for no good reason.

Delivered on time; it's a little stiff. I was hoping it would be a little softer, but it does the job.
