5 out of 5 stars so simply yet so great   March 3, 2006

wow so i took this out of its box and thought o god this is gonna be cheap and not work because its really simple and small. but the first roll i did with it i felt a good burn in my abs and arms. after a few minutes i felt like my abs were gonna explode with ripness. it definately works great for a great price. i have one of those ab blaster lounges too- and this works sooooo much better than that. those things are boring and i dont feel a burn for a long time.

5 out of 5 stars A very good value. It will get a lot of use, for many years.   July 31, 2006

This double-wheel has a wider rolling surface, which makes it a lot less prone to tip than single-wheel models. The bar is hollow, but very strong, and the wheel hubs and spokes are made of a strong plastic, ... so the product is very light. (Suggestion: If you wanted an even more stable design, you could slide one wheel off and put something like a 3/4-inch inner-diameter spacer washer or two between the two wheels.) Overall, a fine product, at a very good price.

5 out of 5 stars After hours of research, I believe I selected the right one!   May 12, 2007

After going around Amazon looking for the best Ab Wheel, reading every review, I believe I've finally chosen the right one. It's made with very durable quality (which I doubt the other Ab Wheel's were made with just by their flimsy looks). The only con with this ab wheel (as some other people have mentioned) is the grips. The grips are hard to install, and rough on the hands, but once you get the hand grips on, they wont fall off, and two simple hand-towels will do the trick for the hand grips (cover the grips with hand towels and you've got yourself a brand new *comfortable* grip).

Overall, I'm glad I bought this ab wheel. It's a great alternative to similar methods, and makes you feel great about your body after a hard workout with it. You should be able to see the difference in your abs within a month or two (I'm already noticing some difference with mine).

2 out of 5 stars Not bad, but beware   June 8, 2008

Never trust a review that says one little device will instantly give you a 6-pack. That takes cardiovascular exercise, a low-fat diet, and overall a low % of body fat. The wheel works fine, was easy to assemble, and definitely can be felt in the abs. The downside is that despite being very attentive to proper form, it hurts my back - a lot. The potential for injury and strain is very high, even with a properly conditioned athlete. So just beware!

3 out of 5 stars Grip is hard on your hands   December 13, 2005

My wheel from GoFit ( [...] ) developed a small crack in a wheel. The Everlast wheel was the same price, but on sale. The GoFit wheel has a comfortable foam rubber grip. The Everlast has a hard plastic grip with ridges. Otherwise they are the same size. For the same money, GoFit is the better choice. GoFit is also better than the Valeo wheel's semi hard rubber grip.
